Hannibal Khoury

Hannibal is a proud Australian citizen. He was born in Adelaide, South Australia. He has lived in Australia for 33 years and comes from a family who migrated to Australia in the 1970's.

Hannibal is a qualified Australian Registered Migration Agent and has had an extensive career spanning some 5 years with both Commonwealth and State Government departments including the Department of Immigration and Citizenship in Adelaide, Australia.

Victoria Lennon– Registered Migration Agent: 1278068

Victoria was born in Adelaide, South Australia and relocated to Brisbane, Australia with her family in 1995. Victoria’s family migrated to Australia from the United Kingdom in the late 1970’s. Victoria has previously worked for the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC), in the Migration and Temporary Entry branch. Following Victoria’s employment at DIAC, Victoria worked for a boutique Immigration law firm in Brisbane.

Emelia Khoury– Migration Consultant

Emelia brings to Thames Migration a wealth of experience in decision making of skilled visas and permanent residence applications. The Australian Skilled Processing Centre (ASPC) is responsible for the processing of all General Skilled Migration visa applications.

Emelia was employed as a Senior Case Officer at the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC), Adelaide, Australia and the Australian High Commission (AHC), London, United Kingdom from 2001 – 2010.

In recognition of Emelia’s experience and decision making skills the Australian Immigration Department issued a number of Certificates of Appreciation which confirmed Emelia’s knowledge in relation to complex migration legislation. Emelia is well versed in identifying the ‘burden of proof’ required to achieve a successful visa application.

As a Senior Case officer, Emelia was responsible for case load management. Her primary responsibility includes effectively managing a large case load of up to 450 clients.

Emelia is an invaluable asset to Thames Migration with strong skills in working in a team environment as well as implementation of continuous improvement and change in the London office and to contribute to business outcomes.

Meilan

is a law graduate from Queen Mary University, London. Whilst at university, Meilan studied UK

Immigration Law

as part of a course titled "Ethnic Minorities and the Law.” Its focus was on how immigration laws were responsible for hindering as well as accommodating members of ethnic minority group’s quest to live and work in the UK.

Since graduating from university in July of 2010, Meilan secured a 6 month internship at the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI) as an Assistant Legal Researcher.

Meilan’s legal background ensures that her current role as a Migration Consultant is well positioned to assist registered migration agents and clients wherever needed.

Meilan deals with a variety of cases, such as spouse, parent, and skilled migration visa applications. She also handles more complex and challenging cases such as Employer Sponsored applications and Australian citizenship applications.
